Vanilla Sugar Covered Soft Pretzels

We managed to find another nasty cold to circulate through the house, so I didn't want to make something super sugary that would prevent everyone's healing. So, for today's treat I made soft pretzels. I left half of them plain and the other have I drizzled butter on top and sprinkled vanilla sugar. 

In case you are wondering, vanilla sugar is regular sugar that has had a vanilla bean sit in it for long enough for the sugar to absorb its flavor.
