Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Fudge Icing

Last week I tried to make fudge in various flavors, but I failed several times. Sometimes failure leads to its own rewards. In this case it turned into a delicious icing for some chocolate cupcakes. The peanut butter fudge was undercooked, so it spread really well, unlike the caramel fudge which ended up being as hard as a rock. 

The cupcakes were from a box mix. 
I think it was a Betty Crocker Devil's Food cake.

Everyone loved the fudge as icing, but they still would 
have preferred the fudge to have turned out properly.
